A Good Music Manager [Windows]

After some time with Ubuntu I come back to windows ! not bcs I'm tired of Linux bcs I need to play some games :D and there were some S/W I need to try out. So I go with Win 7 but it didn't go as I thought .... my VGA card do not support win 7 ( Win XP drivers didn't work either ) so no games :((

Then it happens I feel lonely without Ubuntu specially when I listen to music ... I miss Banshee and Ubuntu's native support for Banshee. I must say Windows media player got quite impressive updates ( last time I used it may be 2 years ago ) and become a lite weight player but not enough for me.

Eventually I stated looking for a good music player + music manager, after some googling and reading posts few programs come up like

iTunes
MediaMokey
Win Amp
Jet Audio ( not gonna talk about last two )

So I start with A ( A for Apple iTunes :P ) haven't seen much changes since last use but overole good music manager and a player but still not in my taste.

Pros
Solid music player, nice interface, all apple device support
Genius thing look nice

Cons
lack support in ID tag editing and organizing
everything goes through apple stores no other choice
no customizing, lack support in media formats

very little things but they matters :
cant close in to notification area , no right click and change the song or rate it

So iTunes didn't impress me so I move to next option "MediaMonkey" , it seems I found what I look for but I don't say its perfect. How ever I will write about MediaMokey in my next post what I have found interesting.

Note :

Banshee got Alpha version for windows!! I already tried it but seems like it got few bugs so I didn't mention it up there

Best Download Manager For Linux [Ubuntu]

I have been using Ubuntu for some time and I found it so handy and I could replace windows permanently, after few bitter experiences with windows I do change : ) how ever its a long story so back to point.

Since I was with Ubuntu I was looking for a good solid download manager and I tried few of them recommended in web but didn't come up with good results. Specially with Google Chrome which I use as my default browser and some Addons for Fire Fox were no longer supporting the new versions of FF

Then I heard about the JDownloader even though I have use it with windows I have no idea what it can do ! ( back then I got IDM so didn't want to look at alternatives ) Then I start to use it and its the best Download Manager I have seen in Linux so far .

Well this is what I really love about JD its powerful its simple and wow not even paid apps have that feature. When you going to download from file sharing site you may experience that you have to fill captcha before starting the download, when it comes to JD only thing you have to do is enter the file URL to link-grabber in JD and after some processing it will show you the captcha and you can fill it from there no need to visit their sites and no need to wait.

3.Premium account handling

JD can handle more than 100 of file sharing sites and it can store premium accounts so no need to worry about log in

4. Link Grabber

JD got powerful link grabber it also work with many video sharing sites too and it will automatically check every link and its availability also work with bulk of links.

We are hear after few decades after the mans best invention computer. How ever even after computer was invented and developed it make our life easier and BETTER. I cant imagine a world without computer technology !!! it will definitely SUCK !

Most people took it wrong communication technology with computer technology , communication is a vast field of course it play major role in computer or may computer tech. has put communication tech. in a different stage that even we thought it would be possible and still growing.The major part of computer + communication is the INTERNET. In internet ....

It doesn't make sens if we don't talk about humans who use technology and how they do it. see now we are on correct path ( this is what I want to talk about all along :P )....

what we do in the internet and what it for ? simply I don't have any idea ! let me tell you what I do when I come to internet
1.go to Facebook see notifications respond to them then say something how my life is boring or nothing interesting
2.go to mail account find if some one send something cool and forward it to others.
3.then go to RSS reader and read few articles among thousand of them.
4.then go through some other community forums and groups .....

I think many people got the same routing. Most of our time in the internet we spend communicating with some other human being, directly on indirectly.A research pop out that more than 58% of people talk more in the internet rather than their real life ! but what they talk ?

We are in a social networking age and top of it . when we met some one first time and became friends we ask what is your facebook name ? not what is your e-mail or what is your mobile no. things change very quickly.... of course facebook is a good thing to keep in touch with friends ( I'm not a anti facebooker or something like that ) but what happen inside it I saw some of my friends build up whole different personality on the FB not even close to them and they do it very well. the reason is attracting more girls and chat with them. when I ask what happend if they find out who are you ( In real life) ? he said I'm OK with that but later he dissable his account and leave FB for few years and came back as real HE . How ever that was one thing I notice and other thing is making fakes, now thats what I don't like in FB many fakes all around you don't even know is your online friend is a boy or a girl ?

then blogging or posting threads in forums most of them useless or something stupid or a copycat from another blog or a website #$* but all came up with eye catching titles so hard to get away from them. Most blog writers and forum users show up with online ID mean not with their real names . and this use as an advantage to disgrace religions and nations and say what ever came to their mind without thinking about other persons feelings.

There is a huge list to add if I go further how ever I decided not to make online friends. Even though I chat with some one I don't know not to share anything personal. and avoid all stupid posts about irreligious and nationalism.
I got really good real life friends that I can depend on and there is too many ways to connect with them so why would I look for some stranger ???

Having a Android without buying a Android phone !! [mobile]

When android came in to the show I was interested and check its features and media coverages from the internet but never had a chance to experience real android OS phone. Time passed and I was hopeless and forget about android and find some other things look cool..

How ever few days ago I begun to work with virtual box software (which use to virtualize an OS inside another OS without installing it to hard drive) for my studies then for fun and curiosity I tried many Linux based OS's like Slitaz,Pupy,Slax.. etc. then it came to my mind if I can virtualise a PC OS why I can't virtualise smart phone OS? so further details I aske about my matter in "Tech katha" and they told me some thing about android emulator ( I know its not a big deal to people who works on software development area but that was the 1st time heard about it )

After some Googling I download the android emulator... it comes with the android SDK pack so I download it and extract (its a zip file) then what ??? again goole it and found the answer....
I need to do some DOS command works to run the emulator after referring many blogs,forums,tutorial sites and tutorial videos it sucks :( some where middle of the configuring commands it stuck eeerr... :(

Then again goolge it and under the blog option I found my answer ( most times when I was trouble with searching I refer blogs to get best answer and belie me it WORKS ) in here he got a pre configured emulator so all I have to do is download the file and extract it TADA !!! android emulator here we GO!!!!

Today is a very special day for me and my fellow students. Because our school is going to be the first government school in Gampaha city to have its own swimming pool. In Gampaha, out of three swimming pool complexes, only the ones belong to Regent International School and and Nawaloka Youth Centre can be taken to perform swimming meets. Though they are located around the city, we have to face many problems when we go for practicing.

However, from now on, After the opening of our school swimming pool by his excellency the president Mahinda Rajapakse, we won’t face any difficulty in practicing for swimming competitions.

Our school swimming pool is built with the courage and dedication of school students and past pupils. And I should memorize our principle Rev. Labuthale Suddasana Thero from the deep of my heart. This was his dream to build a swimming pool and we all followed him and took our highest efforts to reach the goal and today we all are in-front of our accomplishment. To collect funds for the project, a raffle draw was held and for the 1st prize, principle Rev.Suddasana Thero donated his own motorcar. Many past pupils around the world contributed to make it a successful project and we were able to reach it in just ten moths. I have no more words to describe my feelings coming from my the deep of my heart.

A guy call Jamie Wilkinson has develop a add-on or extension for chrome and Firefox which called vuvuzela works like a alarm that show how google collect our data ( how they track us ). Google has update their image search feature for google.com ( I didn't see it for google .lk ) how ever when I use it for first time I feel little uncomfortable after while I realize that this new feature is more effective than the old one.

Usually when I click on my browser its start with google.lk (ya you got it its my home page ) but today it didn't work may be some kind of technical issue on servers... what ever I was in a hurry so I type google.com and hit Enter... there we go nice and cool Google logo ........... but you know what theres something els on the screen. The company recently introduced the Renault stunning concept electric car. Its design, you can evaluate yourself. As for "stuffing", the bright red DeZir equipped with a powerful electric motor, allowing the car for 5 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 97 km / h. Charging the lithium-ion battery takes about half an hour, and this charge is enough for 160 km. The length of the machine is 4,2 m, weight - only 830 kg. Until quite unclear whether Renault is going to do mass production models.
